Meet Shaina

Shaina is a highly sought-after tutor who has dedicated more than two decades of her professional life to helping students around the world pursue their dreams.

Shaina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Law & Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Litigation & Dispute Resolution from Boston University School of Law.

After benefitting from strategic test preparation during her own law school application process, Shaina began working part-time for a national test preparation company while she was pursuing her law degree. Although Shaina passed the Massachusetts bar examination, remains a member in good standing of the Massachusetts bar, and has practiced law in a limited capacity, her life’s passion is teaching, tutoring, and advising students seeking to achieve optimal performance on standardized tests. In addition to working with thousands of students to achieve their target scores on the SSAT, ISEE, HSPT, ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, the Critical Analysis & Reasoning Skills section of the MCAT, and the Perceptual Ability Test of the DAT, Shaina has also trained hundreds of test preparation teachers and tutors, and has contributed to books and other study materials for the SSAT, ISEE, ACT, GMAT, and LSAT. Shaina has also been published in the Journal of Law, Medicine, & Ethics.
